In the morning the oldest neighbourhoods are visited. We ll begin with the old part of the city and its development in the XX century. Tango, immigration, football (soccer) and popular culture are the main topics of this trip in a big area with a special charm. The colourful La Boca. The old "conventillos" (tenement houses) in the artist quarter of San Telmo. The Plaza de Mayo square, its buildings, where the history was made at the beginning and it is still being written.

LUNCH TIME (1:00pm -2:00 pm) Lunch in the most fashionable new area with restaurants. Puerto Madero.

AFTERNOON (2:00 pm)

After lunch the tour will begin with the the northern neighborhoods which became the main place of residence for the wealthy families, who gave an European appearance to the zone. This tour goes back to the origins of the so called "South American Paris", focusing on the old upper classes: their Beaux Arts palaces, the art that was chosen by them, the parks they made for their free time Palermo Chico, the famous monuments of the beginning of the 20th century and the impressive Recoleta Cemetery. Walking inside the Cemetery is a must for everyone and it is always difficult to end this visit to the "City of the Angels". If it is possible, a longer stop is made in the trendiest area of Palermo Viejo.
