What do our customers think about us?

2008

Dear Isabel,
It was such a pleasure to meet you in person after all the emails back and forth! Susan and I had the trip of a lifetime and that was in no small part thanks to you. We so appreciate all that you did for us. You are much more than a "travel agent," dear one--you have become a friend, and one that enjoys a good laugh together. Susan treasures her

Rotary flag from BA and you did one spectacular job finding that meeting for her!
We have so many memories of our trip and the photos to go with them. You have a most beautiful country, populated by a most wonderful people. We have been blessed to meet so many loving and interesting Argentinians and look forward to coming back to your country in the future.

If we can provide any "referals" or "testamonials" for you and your company we would be most happy to do so. Just ask. You are simply wonderful. I'm sending along a few pictures to enjoy.

Hope you are having a wonderful day with your family.
Love,
Cheryl M and Susan B March/08

We keep comparing the good service we had with your arrangements and the good food we ate. Wish we could have spent a longer time in Buenos Aires also. Right now I am trying to get all those pictures together and create an album to show to my friends. I have not gotten over the good time I had in Argentina, the friendly people we met and the beautiful scenery we had the opportunity to enjoy. We will be recommending your assistance to any Canadian who wants to travel to Argentina.

Thank you so much we really appreciated the outstanding personal consideration you gave us.

Hi Isabel,

Yesterday we returned home safely from our wonderful trip to Argentina.
I wanted to thank you for all of your assistance with our travel plans.
Everything worked out very well. We had no flight problems, all of the accommodations were top-notch, and the overall itinerary was exactly what we needed. I wouldn't change a thing- except to stay longer in your country as there is so much to see and do!

It was also a pleasure meeting you in Buenos Aires! We will most
certainly be back in touch if (when) we decide to again visit Argentina.

Dear Isabel

Thanks so much for your help with this trip. All your recommendations were excellent and you introduced us to places we simply would not have found - so thanks for that. Argentina is my favourite country and Buenos Aires my favourite capital so without doubt we'll be back and we'll make sure we contact you when we are planning it."

This is what Isabel did for us.
Gave a service out of the world for a very modest charge!.
Discreetly followed us all over the country to make sure rooms were ready,
Checked flights on time and that cabs were scheduled.
Saved our bacon when United delayed our flight home by 6 hours.
You were our guardian angel, Isabel

Isabel,

Thank you so much for all your work on our trip to Argentina. It was great and we enjoyed everything. The hotels were wonderful. The apartment arrangement was perfect for two couples traveling together. We appreciated a place to sit and plan our next day's activities and the balcony. I really enjoyed El Calafate and the Estancia Christina tour.

Next time our stay will be longer. The B&B in Palermo was really fun and put us in a great place to tour Palermo. Everyone made our trip very easy.

Above all, it was very nice to meet you, all the time and the advice you gave us.
Thank you again, Isabel.

"Her picture should be in the dictionary next to "travel agent," because she has to be what the epitome of one really is. Rapid responses, recommends accommodations that we would never find on our own, straightens you out when you go astray on the planning, really listens to what you want and then presents several options"

Made me confident that our first trip to Argentina would go swimmingly.
And it did.

We haven't used travel agents before, and she restored their good name for me, that's for sure.

Just wanted to say a big THANK YOU for all your help in planning our fabulous trip to Argentina. We enjoyed every single part of the vacation and loved Argentina. We will definitely return to your beautiful country. Thank you for arranging all of the hotels and flights; everything went smoothly and was exactly what we were looking for. The last two days were certainly hot ones, but the friendly staff at the were very understanding and were able to change our room to a cooler one.

Anyway, thanks again for everything. It will a trip we will never forget, and like I said, we do hope to return to Argentina (Salta, Mendoza and more of Patagonia) sometime in the next couple of years. I will certainly be in touch with you for our next visit. :)

Take care and all the best for 2008!

We recently visited BA with the assistance of Isabel, www.buenosaires-tours.com.ar. This was our first international trip and I wanted everything arranged ahead of time. I can't say enough about the great job she did. We communicated via email for several weeks organizing a flat, tours, shows etc.

When our plane was delayed and we missed our connection to BA, causing a day's delay of arrival, she rearranged several events to accommodate the new schedule. Our flat was clean, secure, and quiet with a very attentive staff. When our refrigerator wasn't working it was repaired. When the lights went out they were quickly fixed. The neighborhood was safe and had everything you needed within walking distance.

The tours were top notch. Roomy, air conditioned, comfortable transportation, guides that spoke our language quite well and were very knowledgeable of the area.

Every day was a new adventure. Last day came and the hotel couldn't secure transportation to the airport, we hadnt arranged one before as we thought it was not necessary. Isabel found a shuttle to take us.

I highly recommend Isabel as your travel guide to Buenos Aires, Argentina.

How do you pack a week of beautiful Buenos Aires and the surrounding area into 48 hours? With Isabel as your agent! I had already made my hotel and flight arrangements when I contacted Isabel. I told her all that I wanted to do, and on very short notice she went to work to pull it all together. She even tossed in some fabulous surprises, such as a horseback ride with the gauchos. I was picked up at an out-of-the-way hotel for every tour, traveled in comfort in small groups, and even got delivered directly to t he airport in plenty of time at the end of the last tour. And she was in regular contact with either me or my guides to make sure everything was going smoothly and that I was having fun. I don't think she ever sleeps!

Isabel, you are a delight to know and I can't thank you enough for all your attention and hard work and for making my stay in your wonderful city an amazing experience. My only regret is that there isn't an "Isabel" in every city of the world.

Thank you very much for the memorable vacation Isabel. We thoroughly enjoyed Argentina, its friendly people and the fantastic scenery. We were blessed to see and experience Ushuaia at the end of the world in Tierra del Fuego, witness the beauty of the glaciers in El Calafate, the beautiful unpolluted lakes and scenery around Bariloche, the extensive sandy beaches at Punta del Este and enjoy the enchanting waters, flora and fauna of Iguazu.

We really appreciated the outstanding personal consideration you give us in planning our tours and the knowledgeable and professional guides you arranged for us.

Thank you again, Isabel for your special attention, best prices and carefully selected accommodation. All the arrangements and recommendations were superb and we felt safe wherever we went. We especially enjoyed our dinner with you at a spectacular restaurant you selected for our last evening in Buenos Aires.

We will highly recommend your assistance to any Canadians considering travel to Argentina. Please stay in touch and let us know if you ever have a chance to come our way.

We are just back from BA and aside from HUGE problems getting there (storm in NYC, missed connection in Houston – started trip a few days late) - we had a wonderful and amazing trip - and returned about 10 lbs heavier!!

We planned some of the trip ourselves, but used Isabel at Buenos Aires tours for all the "in Argentina flights", help with hotels, tours, and suggestions and she is nothing short of amazing! When our flight was cancelled - she helped us with re-arranging EVERYTHING for us that got messed up. Her contact info is: contact@buenosaires-tours.com.ar

I would recommend her to EVERYONE traveling to Argentina. We emailed her throughout our trip too - and she helped us with many arrangements and changes when necessary and also checked up on us at certain points to make sure we were doing well
I can't write everything from our amazing trip...Cannot wait to go back to Argentina

Isabel is very reliable and people rave about her services and dedication.
....."I do not have my mum close but as if I had, because Isabel takes care of us"...
It was what I heard from some young people.
She must pay a big telephone bill as she follows their itinerary everywhere to make sure everything is ok...

Hello Isabel!

I wanted to write to you to thank you for all the time, concern, and details that you took to make our trip a life time experience. I am quite certain that I don't know half of what goes into all that you do because, from my perspective, it went as effortlessly as it did. Thank you Isabel for everything.

I would NEVER have been or found the places we wanted to be without your detective work. Thank you for that too.

Both of us found the trip that we took very broadening.

Get ready, Isabel. I can't say when next we'll be down to Argentina, only that we will definitely be back.
And next time again we ll be working our trip with you

The snow is falling gently as I write this note to you, which seems all too perfect for Christmas. I hope that you and yours have a wonderful, peaceful, and loving Christmas and prosperous 2008, Isabel. I will toast you and Buenos Aires with a cup of 'vino tinto' on New Year's Eve.

Thank you, thank you, thank you

Just wanted to post a quick trip report before I forget the details of this GREAT TRIP we just took. Hopefully it will help others planning a similar trip...Returned from a 3 week trip to Argentina/Patagonia. Before getting into trip details, I will provide one more endorsement for the local travel agent we used, Isabel of www.buenosaires-tours.com.ar She has been recommended before on this forum, and I just wanted to state that for those who might be a little hesitant to use an overseas agent, or are worried about the prepayment that is required with these services - there is no need to worry!

Hotel in Bs.As. was a great choice for us, and I'd stay there again for the location ......
Next we flew to Trelew to see the whales and penguins. Stayed at the Posada suggested by Isabel which was perfect. Beautiful bed and breakfast with a wonderful owner and staff - river runs through the property, there are roses everywhere. Stayed 3 nights, 2 full days.......
We then flew to El Calafate, where we stayed outside the city at a estancia. Very glad we chose to stay outside the city, which was fun to wander for a couple of hours..... The next day we had a land transfer over the border into Chile to Torres del Paine. This was definitely a hightlight of the trip (there were so many highlights....) The transfer was long, the timing perfect, the scenery along the way interesting..... In Torres del Paine, we stayed at the Explora for 4 nights, then drove to Punta Arenas where we connected to the Mare Australis and cruised 4 nights around Tierra del Fuego to Ushuaia. This was also great... We stayed one night in Ushuaia after the cruise... We stayed in Cabins in Ushuaia, another great recommendation from Isabel. 3 cabins built on a slope with a great view of the Beagle Channel, very charming, all made of local wood and stone.

Isabel was very helpful and efficent, responded promptly (often within a just a few minutes!) to my VERY frequent emails) had some very useful suggestions, she gave us discounted rates for the places such as Explora and Mare Australis and even the Calafate transfers in private. She did a great job!

My experiences in Argentina have also convinced me that a good travel agent is very useful in this country.
Isabel was terrific for us and I would use her again.

I travel a fair amount outside the US to Europe and Asia and never use a travel agent so it is pretty good praise for me to recommend Isabel.

What stands out for me is the conviction that Isabel does what is best for me/you and not necessarily for her with standard kickbacks that are quite common in the travel industry. If you want an apartment she will tell you about the location or scout it out for you if she is not sure. If you can get a hotel with points or can get abetter deal via internet she will tell you. Invaluable if your flights are changed or canceled on you for any reason as she will find an alternative for you. I think she has a mole in Aerolineas. Lastly, she is always available to you by email or telephone. She is more like your mother while you are in Argentina as she keeps track on how you are doing. I do not think you can do better.

Dear Isabel,

Thank you so much ! it was an absolute pleasure to meet you.

The care you took over arrangements was like having my own guardian angel whilst in Argentina !
The Bed and Breakfast you recommended was charming. The staff are so friendly and just could not do enough to help. They are to be highly recommended.

I did enjoy the tour to the delta and the guide we had. The girl that took us on the trip was lovely The meal at the restaurant on the island was rather luxurious! I expected an open-air barbecue but it was a lovely three-course seated meal.
The new tour of BA in the bus was very good value. Two girls conducted the tour and were very friendly and well informed. The short videos they showed were quite novel and informative. I would recommend it.

Thank you again. Hopefully I'll make my way back to South America again as the whole experience was much less tiring and stressful than I would have imagined.

Kind regards from the UK,
Graeme (Sept/2007)

I should note that I chose to use a local travel agent to arrange much of my travel in Argentina at the advice of many people. I originally e-mailed 4 agents. One did not return my e-mail for two weeks and was eliminated from consideration. Another asked many questions and sent me a proposal for two weeks in BA/Northwest/Iguazu. Cost for the four of us including unnamed hotels and Argentina airfares but not food was $20,000. As there was no itemization of costs it was impossible to budget this down. I politely declined this offer. The third travel agent told me that they did not work with people who might want to stay at an apartment in BA as they only work with the better hotels. This led me to Buenos Aires Toursl who basically let me know that there was a fee of $50/person for travel arrangements in Argentina. We had many discussions on hotels and apartments. She let me know when she could get better rates at some hotels than I could and when she could not.

What I really liked about Isabel was her willingness to work with me to give us the best vacation possible. All options were open if they were available. I asked about a new boutique hotel in Palermo and she stopped by on her weekend to check it out. She reported back that it was a wonderful place but not in a safe and nice area.

We met Isabel for coffee in the lobby of the Hilton and spent an hour going over details of our trip few hours after arrival.....Following day : We came back to the hotel after lunch. Message from Isabel that Aerolineas Argentina has gone out on strike due to some passenger striking an employee and our flight was canceled. We had 1700 flight to Salta and we were about to lose the money we paid for2 rooms in Colome Salta. When she gave us the message she had already booked us on the Andes flight at 1900. and arranged for a refund of our Aerolineas fares We took a taxi to the AEP airport at 1700 where we were met by Isabel with new tickets. She made sure we were ok and put us on our new 2 hour flight to Salta and slept in the Colome that same night........

She was always available for advice.Isabel reminds me of what a travel agent might be if she were your mother. Isabel was easy to work with and I would use her again in a heartbeat.

The day that I was surfing the internet and met Isabel of Buenos Aires Tours was indeed our lucky day.

We had booked an Antarctica trip on the Marco Polo which left our party of two couples free time in Buenos Aires so on the net I went and contact was made with Isabel to arrange our activities for the spare time we had in Argentina. This she did with professional friendliness , organising best fares for a flying trip to Iquazi falls and various other local Buenos Aires tours together with very satisfactory accommodation for our week long stay in the city.

I believe Isabel not only carried out efficiently or pre trip arrangements but went beyond the call of duty in person meeting us at our arrival Hotel thus giving us a level of her personal involvement that was beyond what we expected. We had the misfortune soon after arrival for one of our party to have a bag stolen that contained all the important papers i.e. money, passports, tickets. This problem certainly was compounded by communication skills not speaking any Spanish. To the rescue came Isabel and her husband spending a large part of the night hours with us at the Police station helping us deal with this serious problem.

Because of our lost ticket problem some internal travel had to be rearranged , once again Isabel to the rescue even making a special trip to the Airport to ensure we were treated correctly by the Airline staff. . Might I add this involved travel for her of over an hour each way and a complete disruption to her work day. Every activity that was arranged by Isabel was confirmed by her the night before and we received a call on completion of these activities to check on how that activity had gone.

Isabel initially was a great business contact and know I must comment that she is not only our No 1 Argentina travel consultant but also our No1 Argentina special friend.

I wish to place my personal recommendation to Isabel and Buenos Aires Tours to anyone planning an Argentina trip. You will be rewarded with an efficiency above and beyond expected from a lady that is completely honest and friendly with her big wish to ensure her clients have a successful holiday in her lovely country.

Should anybody wishing to contact me directly regarding the above my e mail address is a.jgraham AT xtra dot co dot nz

We frequently think of our trip to Argentina and our wonderful

We met great people in Argentina. The guide Angelico in Salta, the driver Miguel in Iguazu and our Isabel in Buenos Aires, not a travel agent but a friend.

Just returned from three weeks in Argentina (Mar 2-Mar 22). Our trip was different than others, perhaps--my husband was returning to his homeland after 6 years, so family visits and touring familiar areas and new places were on the agenda. We also had a mix of upscale and budget accommodation, depending on where we were and what we wanted to do.

Our travel agent, Isabel, arranged much of our travel to the Argentine interior--booking flights, researching excursions, booking hotels. She was EXCELLENT--honest, hardworking and very patient! We had very definite ideas of what we wanted to do, which didn't always fit into the typical touristy plans, but she was flexible and worked with us--even when we changed our minds about our definite plans!

When planning my two week vacation in Argentina, I decided to find a local travel agent to help me purchase local travel tickets. I sent emails to five or six travel agents who received good reviews on the various travel chatrooms. All of them responded after a few days, except Isabel at Buenos Aires Tours, who won the email race and my services by responding the same day. Over the course of almost three months that we spent planning my trip, Isabel almost always responded within a day. Her prompt service alone won my gratitude, but I also appreciated her willingness to answer all my questions thoroughly and in excellent English.

Isabel's knowledge about travel in Argentina was invaluable in planning my trip. Originally I had planned to fly only to two cities besides Buenos Aires because the cost to fly was so expensive. But by helping me get cheaper air tickets and by booking me on several night buses, Isabel helped me add another leg to my trip without spending extra money. Isabel also recommended some incredible tours and places to visit which were the highlight of our tour, like a little cottage in a rain forest with its own private waterfall. An amazing place!!!!

I wholeheartedly recommend Isabel's services. Feel free to write me if you have any questions.

I just returned from a two-week trip in northern Argentina with my husband (BA, Salta, Jujuy, Misiones). I will post a trip report in a few days, but I just wanted to drop a line about the wonderful experience I had with my travel agent Isabel, from Buenos Aires Tours.

I contacted her many months ago and explained that I was looking for plane tickets to Salta and probably another location. I also said that I would be interested in any travel tips she could give, but given that I was travelling on just slightly more than a student budget (this trip was to celebrate my graduation from law school), I would understand if she couldn't spend much time on my case.

Well! Isabel absolutely poured herself into my trip. She e-mailed me several times a day with recommendations, reminders, warnings and news of my bookings.

I always felt that she was completely honest and open with me and truly had the best interest of my trip in mind. I know that I got the same level of respect and hard work as if I had been travelling on a true "Fodorite's" budget.

She helped me put together an amazing itinerary and always respected my wishes!

She came to meet us one day in BA at our guesthouse to hand deliver some tickets and to make sure everything was so far working out for us.

She made reservations at a spectacular tango show, told them "something" that got us upgraded to a private balcony and had us welcomed with champagne!

The kicker really came when, shortly after arriving at Posada La Bonita, a jungle lodge in the middle of nowhere, Misiones, my husband became violently ill with a bug. I was beside myself and couldn't get any help from the couple that worked on site (they spoke no English and, in my panic, I forgot all my Spanish). A day and a half later, I came down with the same thing.

Thank god for Isabel! I managed to get a call to her from the lodge and she immediately took charge of the situation. She would phone La Bonita several times a day to check on our condition. She also helped get us a transfer back to P. Iguazu and then emergency air tickets back to BA.

A few days later when I spoke with her again, she told me she was on her way to visit a client who had landed in the hospital when, not long after arriving in the country, he came down with appendicitis! He was taken to one hospital but she worked to get him into a private facility with which she was more comfortable.

This is a woman who truly cares about her clients and making sure they make the absolute most of their time and experience in her country.

If you want honesty, forthrightness and, most importantly, somebody who will look after you long after you've booked your last hotel or plane ticket, I strongly urge you to connect with Isabel. (Oh! And she speaks terrific English!)

Our stay in Argentina last January exceeded all our expectations and, as you know, we immensely appreciated your help which came in so many ways. From the first day when I contacted you and received your immediate response to saying good-bye after a wonderful trip, you never failed to take the best care of us. You fulfilled our every wish from finding the desired accommodations, most convenient and reasonably priced air connections, best drivers, guides and local agencies, to giving us valuable advice. We found in you the perfect person to organize our stay in Buenos Aires, and especially our trips to the Northeast and the Northwest, both beautiful parts of your country.

We hope to return and explore other parts of Argentina, with your help, of course. Having traveled the world for nearly fifty years, of which some as a tour operator myself, I can say that I never enjoyed more putting a trip together, working with you on all the details, and then having the pleasure of meeting you on arrival at the airport. I hope that many more travelers will be able to appreciate your services!

It was our first time in Argentina and it will not be the last. We loved it! The people are so friendly and the county is blessed with beautiful sceneries. We went from Buenos Aires to the end of the world, we witnessed the beauty of the glaciers around El Calafate, the lakes around Bariloche, the wine lands around Mendoza, Salta, Iguazu too many places and things to describe.

Without the help of Isabel this trip wouldn't have brought us what it did. Everything was so well organized that we could focus on experiencing Argentina instead of figuring out how to get to the next stop and where to sleep. During the whole trip she was monitoring our flights....and that is necessary as flights change more often then we are used to. Even during a stop over in Buenos Aires she helped us to fill the hours we had to wait....Isabel, the restaurant you showed us was superb...Thanks for that!

Last but not least. Isabel, Thanks again for all the help and tips you gave us. We'll hope to see you soon.

To our Angel, Isabel.

We cannot believe that our visit to Buenos Aires is about to end. These have been four of the most perfect vacation days we have ever spent, and we know that we owe that all to you. The day at the estancia was like being in a little bit of heaven.

The Tango Show was everything wonderful that you said it would be, and we felt like a king and queen in our own private box for dinner and theatre. We know we paid a lot less than the other people did. Now we are going to have breakfast at this delightful hotel, then go for the tour of the Colon Opera House.

Again - perfect! It is now part of my excellent "Isabel kit," and, again, we are so very grateful that we have you for our guardian angel.

You have life'long friends in Chicago (as, I´m sure, in many many places). We will do anything for you and your family. When we get home, we will be again in contact with you. You ve been very professional but showed us to be a good person too.(even more important)

In the meantime, please accept our deepest thanks. We count you as our Argentinian Angel, and are eternally grateful. With great respect, and warm regards,

Joan and Tom Soper

Dear ISABEL

You became like family during our month in Argentina and the planning time before. We tell everyone how essential it is to have a local travel agent when traveling on your own in Argentina and how you were the perfect one for us, from the big things like arranging flights to the little ones like which bus to take across town. There are so many unknowns when you travel on your own and you were able to help us with each one. Things like: will we be safe? how do we get around? where do we stay, eat, play? what can we absolutely not miss? how do the locals feel about Americans? how does the money work? You were so supportive and helpful; you truly made our trip a rousing success! Thanks so much and God Bless!

To our BODYGUARD Isabel Good to be back in many ways but sad to end such a dream-like holiday made extra special by Isabel's constant care - she would check that we had arrived safely at every destination (and there were many!) and on each passing through Buenos Aires she'd be right there to make sure we were coping with our action-packed itinerary!! She's a gem and such fun with it - we've had so many laughs! What a find we made!! You MUST arrange a trip to Argentina so that you can meet her, you'd get on famously... Thank you sooooo much for all your love and care during our FABULOUS VISIT –HOMECOMING!!! – to Argentina. We have loved every minute and have fallen in love with all the wonderful people we have met along the way but, most especially you, dear Isabel, who has planned every detail of our travel to make our return to Argentina so memorable. The Strawberry was our school Barker College and the welcome we received from teachers, old Barkonians and the children!!!! Wonderful personal moments of seeing our birthplace and catching up on the families past life.

It took a while but I have found a travel agent who is willing to work with us for a predetermined fixed fee. I believe that this is one of the most cost effective ways to travel in Argentina. I first contacted travel agents who are mentioned highly in the Travel Talks. To my inquiries that disclosed up front ourselves being budget travelers, most of them did not even bother to reply. One of them asked for a quite high retainer’s fee even before talking about itinerary. In the end, I was able to get a package of their typical itinerary from one of them. Since their commission is tied to the package cost, it was a lot more than we were hoping to spend. But finally I contacted one who right away answered and offered us everything at very low price, much less we had thought to spend She would charge us with a fixed fee for her service. We got legitimate tourist air tickets. We do not need to pretend that we are Argentineans for lower fairs. I do not know the price Argentineans pay. Compare to the price we paid to Southern Winds last April, however, the ticket price was very fair. She got us three nights of room for two nights with even the each night rate reduced. She was able to manage to have them to charge it to my credit card. All bills including the air tickets were charged to my credit card directly by the wholesale vendors. Could the prices to us have been padded? Yes, they could. However, she worried about it more than we did. She gave me the costs she anticipated in Pesos and check back with me at a later time for the actual charges the wholesaler billed to my credit card in U$. In the course of finding the root of a discrepancy, we found accidentally that Chase Bank had been charging 3% fee for every transaction on my VISA. (Please let me know if you know a way to get this 3% fee back. It was an Ouch.) Even for private hostels and B&B’s, she checked things out such details as local pick ups, house setups and house rules. She did not want to participate in actual booking, however. She worried that the establishments might quote rates inflated in consideration of her involvement. Our final travel cost? Much, much lower than the quote from other regular agent. All the detailed work of these sort naturally caused the number of email exchanges to be a lot, sometimes several in a day. Her responses to my emails were always almost immediate. Knowing how much she would be getting for the service, I had to discourage her spending too much time on us. We forced ourselves to minimize the email exchanges. Before sending an email, we thought through what we really wanted, articulated our plan and made our questions clear and unambiguous. Knowing someone in the travel industry putting the interests of her country ahead of her own financial gain and treating travelers as guests is heart warming. Working with her made me to remind of a quote I had read about her and it was for me true “She receives tourists and sends back friends.” We are budget travelers. We are not cheap travelers. We want to travel to places of our liking and at our own pace. I am interested in making travelling cost effective. I feel that making travel agents to use his or her time effectively may be a very small way to help this to happen. I feel it important especially when she is not any agent. She is a real conscientious and understands the budget travels. I hate to see the time of such a conscientious agent wasted.

It was an amazing holiday and Argentina is to me a land of beautiful contrasts that we were blessed to see and experience - the mass of water over Iguazu; the almost desert landscape of the Salta region; the wine lands against the white of the Andes mountains of Mendoza; the lakes of Barliloche; the beyond description glaciers at Calafate and then the end of the world!! Add to that the most friendly and loving people It has been a holiday of a lifetime and one that I will not forget. All this made possible by the one and only Isobel. THANK YOU can never say it enough. Your organisation was superb and your special interest in and care of us as a family really touched me - you went beyond the call of any duty and I will always be indebted to you.You can be sure that I will be back and that I will be recommending you to many people as I try to encourage them to go to Argentina as a great holiday destination. Now it is back to daily life and work...It is going to be hard! Look forward to staying in touch with you and hoping that you will cope with all the work that you have and then be able to take some time off for Christmas. With love and more thanks.

Planning was outstanding, trips wonderful and the tours in each city were excellent! We thought that this package suited us well and we got to see SO MUCH we would not have been able to see so much The service from Buenos Aires Tours was fantastic. Isabel was great and we were glad she could come to the hotel on our first day to meet us. Thanks again for making our trip unforgettable. We cannot wait to return to Argentina. and we will most likely be using your services again!

Budget travelers like me prefer to be independent and to do most of planning, making reservations and composing the itinerary themselves. I have found almost by accident that there is another type of TA's. They are willing to work for a fixed fee that is determined up front. In return, the prices we pay are at their cost with no commissions added. From time to time, TA's run into special deals that are not known outside. They also are passed on to travelers at the vendors' price, at least that was the case with me. My travel cost was less than the quote I got from another TA by far even for the same level of accommodations. In addition, I could choose mixtures of private lodgings of my choices. The best service at the lowest prices I have ever received. You deserve a lot Isabel, hope we stay friends for a long time.

I have come to know Isabel via a referral, and had the pleasure to meet up with her in Buenos Aires. I don’t speak Spanish, Isabel, my local guru organized pretty much all my activities and travel plan while I was in Buenos Aires and Iguaçu falls. My itinerary was executed smoothly and hassle free. I spent all my time enjoying my vacation, the sights, the shows, the shops and of course the food, rather then on planning. I had a great time in Buenos Aires, so thank you Isabel, you’re the best

I visited Buenos Aires this March and had a wonderful time! Without the help of Isabel this wouldhave been nearly impossible. She really put a great effort in finding me a great place to stay, arranging all the excursions I wanted at great prices and helping me with travelling to all the important destinations Isabels' help was invaluable as not only she helped with the things I wanted, but also suggested alternatives and things I wouldn't know they existed!! Totally recommended!!

It was a please communicating with you about our trip. Finding you on the internet was a real prize. I found it so reassuring to discuss our trip and then to have to help us out. There are so many travel agents today that either don't know much and/or are only interested in selling expensive tours. This is especially true when you are on a cruise. It was a great trip and I thank you so much for that. Maybe your husband and you would consider coming home next year.

I'd to share with you my great experience of meeting such a wonderful person who made our 4 days trip absolutely unforgettable. Isabel helped me out to schedule our 4 days to be the most complete (actually, 4 days is a very short time especially if you're flying from USA, it took for us about 24 hours, including all flights and delays). She greatly made a Recoleta tour for me, my sister and my daughter, went with us to Delta Tigre, showed La Boca and San Telmo. She is amazing person with kind and open heart. If anybody is looking for trip information, places to see, tours, please contact her.

Finding an apartment in a foreign country is hard, especially if you are thousands of miles away, do not speak the language properly and have no contacts. This was my situation when I started to look for an apartment in Buenos Aires, all the way from Finland! After much stress and struggle by myself I contacted Buenos Aires Tours and got excellent service and help in finding my future home. I got the kind of service no agency could ever provide me, personalized help and an objective view on apartments and prices. The Buenos Aires Tours personnel negotiated a good price for me, visited several apartments and checked the contract I finally signed. Through Buenos Aires Tours I got a broader view on what my options for an apartment were and I did not have to pay a high commission to any agency. Buenos Aires Tours didn’t push any agency apartments on me, they don’t really care who you rent from as long as it is verified by them to be high of quality and according to your needs. Their work was independent from agencies and I didn’t pay them anything until I found what I wanted and already signed my contract. I truly recommend Isabel from Buenos Aires Tours for anyone who is looking for an apartment for a longer or shorter stay!

Our visit to Buenos Aires was highlighted by the extensive knowledge, professionalism, care and pleasantness of our Argentinean guide. She is all you need to have the most efficient tour of this historical and amazingly beautiful city and its surroundings. We're sorry that we found out about her only in the last days of our visit and did not have enough time to take advantage of this great opportunity. We're looking forward to our next trip to Argentina, having now the most reliable source of information and knowing the person who can, definitely, make it a full success. VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

My wife and I really appreciated what Isabel did for us when we were in Argentina. She arranged an excellent well located accommodation for us at a very good price. She speaks excellent English and her personal attention added much to the short time we had in Buenos Aires. Isabel has much knowledge about her country as well as Buenos Aires. Arrange a walking tour with her...you will not be disappointed.

While wondering around the Recoleta Cemetry in 2003, I overheard a guide talking English to a group of tourists. As she seemed very knowledgeable of the area history, I listened in and asked if I could join the tour. Another couple from Europe joined us later. When the tour ended, Isabel asked the late comers if we would like to go back to the start of the tour, which we did. A very nice day and a wonderful guide that has since taken me to several other interesting areas of Buenos Aires. Whether visiting local landmarks or having coffee at Cafe Tortoni, you are in for a good day. I especially enjoyed my tour of the Colon Theatre.
